A tribute to my all time favorite manga, Rurouni Kenshin. It was the first manga I read from beginning to the end, and still loving it. That's probably because it has everything (in my opinion): a great story, loveable characters and even slight romance. But above all, Kenshin is not the "typical good" nor "typical bad" hero-type (how to explain that
): he has both sides and tries to live with that, through atonement.
About the drawing, I didn't want to draw the Battousai first, but it came out like that, maybe because I wanted to draw a night scene. I even wanted to make him all bloody, but I never manage to draw hurt people or bloodsheds, don't ask me why -_-. Next time, I should draw the carefree Rurouni
Anyway, that's my first digital drawing in a long time (at last, a new tablet !!!)...and also the longest comment I ever wrote XD
